Week 9

I figured that my resume would be the most beneficial for future employers. Here it is pasted from a word document (that I could not figure how to attach to the post, so if anyone knows how to do that let me know so I can revise my blog :) )

  1. Over all your resume looks good. Great action statements. However here is a few suggestions: write a more specific objective that are tailored towards the positions that you are applying for. List your graduation date. Move interests to the bottom of the resume or take off.

  2. Ms. Lingman, Your accomplishments both inside and outside the classroom are really portrayed beautifully on your blog. The business world can defiantly take some cues from you when it comes to thinking outside the box. I like the way you interweave your music, your personal aspirations into the work place. Most people just think about paychecks when it comes to jobs, but us as the 401 students working in the world of academia don’t always get the money we deserve. I hope you continue to strive for the excellence you demand. It is very warming to know people like you actually are there to make a difference no matter how big or small. I hope I could aspire to helping as many people as you have in the few weeks at your applied site.
